We have a fabulous team of volunteers who are all simply STEMAZING - including our Stemazing Inspiration Academy role models delivering free interactive STEM sessions in schools and other volunteers who are supporting our mission to create a more diverse and inclusive STEM future.

Meet the Volunteers

Vishnavee Shanmugarajah

Hi I’m Vishnavee, currently a second-year Civil Engineering student at Brunel University London, interested in innovation and sustainability in the construction industry. I enjoy creating art including oil painting and portrait drawing.

Sunja Winter

Hi I'm Sunja, an international student studying mechanical engineering in the UK. I enjoy team sports and knitting. I volunteer because I think more women should be in STEM jobs and STEM should be fun for kids.

Beverkey Yakuba

Hi, I'm Beverley and I'm a Civil Engineering MEng student, my favourite topics at the moment being sustainability, geology, and water management. In my spare time I enjoy activities such as traditional and digital painting, gardening and volunteering with Stemazing!

Meet the Inspiration Academy Role Models

These Stemazing Women took part in the first round of the Inspiration Academy - producing a Meet a Woman in STEM video and delivering a series of StemazingKids live interactive Zoom STEM sessions for children. They are all visible role models inspiring a more diverse and inclusive STEM future.
